Wake Forest Pre-College Programs are designed for high school students to experience academic rigor, dynamic learning and enriching social interactions in a supportive college environment. All of our programs are meant for enrichment and are not-for-credit, meaning students donโt have the pressure of formal grades.

Institute Spotlight: Medicine ๐ฉบ๐ฌ
This summer, our Medicine Institute students stepped into the world of healthcare and got hands-on with what it takes to care for patients.
Throughout the week, students explored cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, surgery, cancer care, ultrasound, and more. They practiced taking blood pressure, listening to heart and lung sounds, interviewing standardized patients, performing sutures, and using ultrasound technology through interactive simulations and labs.
Students also visited Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and the Wake Forest School of Medicine for an inside look at the people, places, and technology shaping modern healthcare.
By the end of the week, students walked away with new skills, new perspectives, and a closer look at the many paths a future in medicine can take.

Institute Spotlight: Business ๐ผ๐
This summer, our Business Institute students got an inside look at what it takes to make ideas happen in the business world.
Throughout the week, students explored finance, marketing, management, operations, business analytics, and more. They worked through interactive case studies, connected with business leaders, visited local businesses, and collaborated with their peers to develop and pitch their own team projects.
Led by Academic Leader Dr. Justin Martin, students put their creativity and critical thinking to work while discovering how different areas of business come together to solve real-world challenges.
From brainstorming to the final pitch, students spent the week thinking like business leaders.
